requrements for the UAS operator vs. actual pilot of the USAF.?
I’ve just read a short notice in the DefenseNews, sating that 2009 is the first year when the USAF trained more UAS operators than fighter and bomber pilots combined.
this led me to a question> How are the two positions different from each other, in terms of health and aptitude requirements?
No offense intended, yet i cannot help myself not frowning onto people with thrustmaster toys in front of monitor, due to way too many virtual pilots too impractical for actual life (not to speak of flying) i’ve met

A few years ago, UAV was an assignment out of Pilot Training, I think it still works that way (i.e. they are fully trained airplane drivers after the 52 week SUPT course).
