i’m just wondering why is the hot toys 12″ billie jean version so much more expensive than the thriller one…?
i took a look at the michael jackson hot toys 12″ versions and i noticed that the billie jean version is a lot more expensive than the thriller version. to convince myself, i checked the hot toys site in japan. there, i found out that the thriller version was expensiver that the billie jean one.
i got totally confused.
i know that there are 1000 thriller versions made and only 500 billie jean versions, but the thriller one has much more accesories and it’s a lot more detailed.
what do you guys think?
I think that it is a very short lived bump in the collectible price.
These were relatively low priced. He passed away, and they rocketed up in value. They will quickly come back down as the interest fades.
Do not think of this as an investment. These are more expensive now than they will ever be again.
