With all this flap about lead paint in Chinese made toys… How much would a child have to ingest?
I mean really – how much paint could you even get off of a toy, even chewing on it?
Well it would take quite a bit of lead to kill the child or even cause damage as the concentration was very small only a very small percentage of the total paint volume. For instance a child would need to ingest a large area of paint such as all the paint off the head of one of the “Dora the explorer” dolls.
Also all the toys have been recalled.
EDIT: The guy above this post go look at some economic figures.
